Prehnite is a calcium aluminium silicate mineral, often forming in botryoidal (grape-like) clusters or stalactitic habits. It is typically translucent to opaque, with a desirable soft, muted, pale green to yellowish-green colour. Prehnite is frequently associated with darker inclusions of Epidote or black needles of tourmaline. It possesses a vitreous to pearly lustre and is often cut into cabochons for jewellery or displayed as unique natural specimens.

Prehnite is known as the “Stone of Unconditional Love and Prophecy.” It is a powerful crystal for calming the environment and bringing peace, harmony, and protection.
