Celestite, also known as Celestine, is a strontium sulphate mineral revered for its delicate sky-blue colour and its distinct formation of translucent, tabular crystals. Most commonly found in geodes or compact fibrous masses, its name is derived from the Latin word caelestis, meaning "heavenly," a nod to its ethereal appearance. It is typically transparent to translucent and is prized for its high-vibration clarity, though it is notably fragile and sensitive to heat and light.

Celestite is widely regarded as a stone of peace and spiritual connection, known for its high-frequency energy that clears the mind and calms the spirit. Its gentle, cooling vibration is said to facilitate communication with higher realms and sharpen mental clarity, making it a favourite for those seeking emotional balance. It is often used to dissolve worry, promote a sense of safety, and encourage a harmonious flow of energy throughout the body and environment.
