Dalmatian Jasper is a speckled variety of Jasper (a microcrystalline quartz), known for its creamy beige or off-white background peppered with distinct, naturally occurring black or dark brown spots of Arfvedsonite and other minerals. This unique patterning strongly resembles the coat of a Dalmatian dog. It has an opaque lustre and is often cut and polished into cabochons and beads, making it a fun and durable option for jewellery designs.

Dalmatian Jasper is known as the "Stone of Joy and Playfulness." It carries a light-hearted, childlike energy that reminds the user to enjoy life and release cynical or serious attitudes. It is strongly grounding, helping to balance the user's emotional state and encouraging reflection on past mistakes without guilt, promoting inner harmony. It is highly protective, repelling negative energy and promoting loyalty in relationships.

Hardness: 6.5 to 7 on the Mohs scale (making it durable for daily wear).

Chakra: Primarily the Root Chakra (for grounding, security, and stability).

Zodiac Sign: Gemini and Virgo.

Benefits: Encourages joy, fun, and a light-hearted attitude, strengthens loyalty and faithfulness in relationships, provides grounding and balancing energy, helps in releasing cynicism and negative thinking, and offers a protective shield against negative energy.
