Fire Quartz, or Hematoid Quartz, is a variety of Clear Quartz that contains heavy inclusions of iron oxide minerals, most commonly Hematite or sometimes Limonite. These inclusions give the stone striking streaks, clouds, or phantoms of colour ranging from vivid red and orange to yellow, creating a powerful fiery effect within the clear or cloudy quartz.
