Collection: Turquoise Crystal
Turquoise is known as the "Stone of Protection, Communication, and Wholeness." It is one of the oldest spiritual talismans, revered for its ability to provide strong spiritual protection and promote physical healing. It stimulates the Throat and Third Eye Chakras, encouraging honest, clear, and wise communication, and fostering spiritual attunement. Turquoise promotes self-realisation, helps dissolve self-sabotage and martyrdom, and instils inner calm. It is believed to change colour to warn its wearer of danger or illness, acting as a supportive ally that attracts good fortune and friendship.

About This Collection
Turquoise, also known as Feroza, Firouzeh, Pirouzeh, and Firuza, is one of the oldest and most universally revered gemstones in human history — a hydrated copper aluminium phosphate mineral whose iconic blue-green colouration is primarily caused by copper (blue tones), with iron and other trace elements contributing to green hues. It has been prized by civilisations across the globe for at least 7,000 years. Ancient Egyptians mined Turquoise in the Sinai Peninsula as early as 3200 BCE, the Aztecs and other Mesoamerican cultures used it to adorn sacred ceremonial objects and mosaics, Native American peoples of the American Southwest have worked it into jewellery, trade goods, and ceremonial items for centuries, and Persian Turquoise from the famed Nishapur mines of Iran has long been regarded as the world's finest quality material. Throughout Persia and much of the Islamic world, Feroza was traditionally cherished as a symbol of blessing, prosperity, protection, and good fortune. Turquoise even owes its English name to the trade routes that carried it to Europe — the French called it "pierre turquoise," meaning "Turkish stone," not because it was mined in Türkiye, but because it reached Europe through Turkish merchants. Turquoise is a relatively soft and porous mineral, and much of the material available commercially today has been stabilised — a widely accepted industry practice in which resin or polymer is infused into the stone to improve durability and preserve colour. Fine-quality natural, untreated Turquoise is considerably rarer and more valuable. Iran (historically Persia), particularly the Nishapur mining district, remains the source of some of the most historically celebrated Turquoise, while Arizona and Nevada in the United States produce many of the world's most sought-after and collectible varieties today.
